Alma and Mike spend some quality time together while Alma tries to improve her cooking skill.  And they know that their days are numbered.  Not long before they become Elders and have to turn over the reins to the next generation.

They watch over the one who will be running the show.  They are unsure how this will go as Hallie hates children.  But as the heiress, she must produce at least one offspring.

Alma becomes an elder.

And then Mike.

Hallie meets J Huntington III and is instantly smitten.

I think the feeling is mutual.  They progressed to the first kiss extremely fast.

Mike took their portrait as it seems Hallie became pregnant from one night of passion.

Which, even in her sleep, didn’t make her happy at all.

She is miserable and tense with the idea of a child on the way.

And just flat out angry at herself for not paying attention.

And her tension increases when it is time to go to the hospital to have this child.

And she is disgusted by the pain and reality of her situation.

Hey, this isn’t so bad!

But Byron can take care of the child while he is still around.
