The Garden: Generation 1: Rose Bishop The Final Chapter

Pear tree

All Rose needs to do is reached the top of her career and find the rest of the plants.  The problem with the plants is that every time she goes to the lots that have the plants they won’t grow or produce harvestables. So I will keep trying in this final update for Rose.  Here is the plant list I pulled from Carl’s Sims 4 Guide that I am using to help me find the plants needed for the legacy requirements.   The ones listed in green are the ones she has planted and the ones in red are the ones she still needs to get.  As I go through this update, I will cross out the red ones as I find them.  You will be along for the ride as I find them.

Apple
Basil
Blue Bells
Carrot
Chrysanthemum
Daisy
Grapes
Lemon
Mushroom
Parsley
Plantain
Sage
Snapdragon
Spinach
Cherry
Lily
Onion
Pear
Potato
Rose
Strawberry
Tomato
Tulip
Bird of Paradise
Blackberry
Bonsai Buds
Cow Berry
Death Flower
DragonFruit
Orchid
Pomegranate
Trash Fruit

Rose has now reached the top of her career and has found a couple of plants.  I love Seasons, however, it makes collecting plants hard because they are not all in season when she goes to look for them.  The only one she can find right now, due to it being fall, is the Pear tree.  However, when I was looking at the plant list, I realized I had Bonsai Buds, just on a grafted plant!  So two off the list, yay!

Rose has been working hard on getting the base plants she needs to finish her part of this legacy.  She started her trash fruit and had to put it behind a fence with no gate, so no one would clean it up before it became an actual plant.  And then she bought 6 packets of seeds of each of the seasonal packets (spending WAYY too much money that she didn’t have, thank God it is Tuesday and bills have already been paid) and got lily and blackberry.  In the overhead View of the Garden, all of the flowers are around the flower arranging station and all of the fruits and veggies are in the bottom part of the Garden.

And then the next day of her job started, and the requirement was…

And just like that, the Cowplant has been sold to another unsuspecting sim… I am required to care for 2 during my life, it says nothing about keeping the damn things their whole lives.  So buh-bye, sucka!

Seed packets produced the Cherry tree and the potato plant!  Woop!!!  Now to graft to make those other plants.  While we are waiting for the seasons to change, we head on over to see what Daisy is up to. Well, isn’t this interesting!  She is one day from being a Young Adult and she has to secure her future husband, Stewart Fyres, so she proposes!! And what is the most natural thing for a newly engaged couple to do? Yep, that’s right. In Mama’s bed, no less!

Soon after, Daisy ages up to YA.  And the first thought she had when she finished her spin was, “There are too many people in this house… Someone, or a lot of someone’s have got to go.  The question is: How are they leaving? Alive or Dead?  Thinking… thinking… Mwahahahahaha. Well, poop.  Daisy is a good sim. So they all must age up and move out, except for Rose.

On Harvestfest Eve, Daisy and Stewart tied the knot.  They planned this beautiful wedding at his parents house, but when everyone got there, the family had done nothing to prepare the house for the wedding.  But was that gonna stop these two lovebirds? NOOOO.

But wait… What is happening in the kitchen?  Rose decided to make the wedding cake in the Fyres kitchen since they hadn’t done anything to prepare. And the youngest Fyre brother wasn’t too happy and…

They were all kicked out of the house before the wedding was over!  So that event did not earn high marks! The next day, it was Harvest fest!  They all had a very successful day! Lily had a rough time of it appeasing that gnome, but she got it done!  They all sang together, except Stewart, he was singing a completely different song than the rest. He’s a bit weird, that boy is.

A couple of days after Harvestfest, Thorne and Lily aged up to YA, and a few days after that, Basil aged up.  As I was moving them out, I found Akito’s family, so these 3 children of his moved in there with them.  I wish them well.  I don’t know yet how to set MCCC so that they have their own lives without me, but when I figure that out, you may see an update or two about them.  Until then, here are their YA pictures so you can see how they grew up.  Thorne ended up with Squeamish, Good, Active, Happy Toddler, and Collector.  He is still aspiring to be an Angling Ace.  Lily grew up with the traits of Geek, Genius, Self-Assured, Responsible, Alluring, and Good Manners with an aspiration of Serial Romantic.  Basil grew up with Goofball, Foodie, Non-Committal, Responsible, and Happy Toddler.  He wants to be a Curator.  I wish them all good luck and a happy life.

I will continue Daisy’s story when I begin her chapter.  This is Rose’s final chapter and she has been diligently working on getting all of the base game plants, which is now just a matter of time. Literally. Because with Seasons, she has to wait until the plants are in season to take a cutting and graft what she needs.  So I will end this update here.
