Choices

I stand at the door
Everyone must pass through,
To everything I want,
Peace, health, love and more.

All I have to do
Is walk on through
But yet, I hesitate,
My years have been few.

What will I gain
Is so much more
Than anything I lose,
Total health, no pain.

The world is so bleak,
There’s so much sorrow
Hope becomes dimmer
With every passing week.

But the door is near,
It beckons with welcome,
Peace, health, love and more,
And yet there is fear…
